Computer Diagnostics

Computer diagnostics , or "SCAN" check is the first step in checking operation of various vehicle control systems. It does not tell you what is wrong, or what parts to replace. What it does do is tell us what area of the vehicle to check and the reason for doing so. Various vehicle components work together to do the task at hand and when one area fails, it may affect others.  Diagnostics is a procedure to systematically use test equipment and information to determine the cause of a problem.

Air Bag Systems We service Air Bag Systems (drivers, passenger, side curtain, and side impact), supplemental restraint systems. Complete coverage on all domestic and import vehicles.
Antilock Brake Systems (ABS) We service Antilock Brake systems and Traction Control systems on all domestic and import vehicles.
Check Engine Light "CHECK ENGINE LIGHT" (CEL) , "SERVICE ENGINE SOON" (SES), is commonly referred to as a malfunction indicator light (MIL) by the manufacturer. This warning light indicates that an error code is logged in the computer system that controls the vehicle systems. Errors that illuminate the MIL light can change the operation of the computer system, and possibly put the vehicle into " LIMP HOME " mode. Fuel economy, driveability and breakdowns are the possible result of ignoring this light. We have the latest in diagnostic equipment to diagnose these problems.
Climate Control Air conditioning or heating the passenger compartment air, both automatically controlled and manual controlled systems.
Driver Optional Equipment Power windows, cruise control, power seat controls and heaters, power antenna, windshield wipers and washers, and all other accessory equipment.
Electrical Systems Electrical system diagnosis, charging, starting, battery, lighting and electrical accessories. We also offer aftermarket bulbs and High Intensity Discharge (HID) headlight kits to aid in night time visability.

Transmission Service Did you know that todays cars have transmissions that are controlled by a computer? Proper service and maintenance is vital to todays transmissions. Everyone knows to change your engine oil and filter RIGHT?? The same goes for your transmission. Your transmission filter and fluid should be changed together on a regular basis. Simply changing the transmission fluid, without doing a filter, is like doing an engine oil change without changing the filter. "IT JUST ISN'T DONE".

We recommend that you service and flush your transmission every 40,000km or every two years.
